update: Nice Herald article on Sunday (6/13) - thanks Aaron!
some awful news last night and was hoping that maybe someone could give us some more details. I was told that our great tactical genius Andy McDermid passed away last weekend. While I was able to verify that this wasn't just a rumor I was not able to learn of any details and was hoping someone could fill us in. read more »
As everyone is learning the news about Andy i have one request to make of the Fort Lewis Soccer community. Andy was someone who has helped shaped the program that we all love and support in a large way. This has come at a large sacrafice to his family and friends in the UK. I have absolutely no actual knowledge if his time spent in the states was a source of frustration or not but I can only imagine how much his family has had to endure while Andy was here in the states helping us and countless others. Calling all helms,
You are all invited to Lacey and my third annual Kentucky Derby fete. The shenanigans will begin around 1:00 pm with food, liquor, beer and cigars being provided. The only catch is that you have to dress up kentucky derby style and bring cash to bet on all of the races. Please RSVP if you are planning on coming. See the invite below for additional details and address. Hope to see some of you there!

Hello all,
Thank you, Darren, for the insight on the rankings process. I have updated the links on the home page for each team's "Regional Ranking". They now point to the NCAA site, and the rankings that actually matter for playoff placement.
The Fort Lewis and Regis game today was played under variable conditions of wet snow and some wind. The mighty Fort scored first (Shizzy) and then Regis before the end of the half.
