Calling all helms,

You are all invited to Lacey and my third annual Kentucky Derby fete.  The shenanigans will begin around 1:00 pm with food, liquor, beer and cigars being provided.  The only catch is that you have to dress up kentucky derby style and bring cash to bet on all of the races. Fort Lewis Nation!!!

 Lacey and I are throwing a Kentucky Derby Party May 3rd, 2008 at our house in Denver.  Everybody is invited under two conditions: 1) You drink the punch and 2) You dress up.  There has been a bookie hired for any bets, cigars and food are provided, and the booze will be flowing.  The day'll begin at noon with mint julips and mimosas and the race will start around 2:00 pm.  Please drop a line or call me at 303.726.2884 so I know how much drinks to get.  The attachment has my address and everything.  Hope to see some helms there!

Beach's Going Away, Cooney's Homecoming (sort of) Party

Our favorite left back is relocating to the far East and we need to send him off with some beer in his belly.  The festivities will begin at the SJ Earthquakes vs. Colo Crapids game on Saturday 19, 2008 which begins at 4:30 pm.  After the game there'll be a BBQ at Tall and Tired's house (or someone else's pad who is close to downtown).  Once everybody is good and ready were off downtown. 

Let's send Beach off with a proper headache.

DRESS CODE: UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS or COSBY-STYLE SWEATERS and (required) DRINKING FACE
TIME: 7:30

DRINKS: CAR BOMBS, MIMOSAS, WINE, BEER, HARD EGGNOG and CIDER, and OTHER STUFF.  Everything will be provided.

I think it’s about time that Kent Stanley gets put into place and begins to realize how poor of an Athletic Director he currently is.  Not only do I think that Kent Stanley is a liar, but I think he believes he’s actually doing a good job.  Here are a couple of things I want to know from “the sweater”.   read more »
