Calling all Helms!!!!!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>..........

As everyone is learning the news about Andy i have one request to make of the Fort Lewis Soccer community.  Andy was someone who has helped shaped the program that we all love and support in a large way.  This has come at a large sacrafice to his family and friends in the UK.  I have absolutely no actual knowledge if his time spent in the states was a source of frustration or not but I can only imagine how much his family has had to endure while Andy was here in the states helping us and countless others.  My request is this:

I am asking that if Andy has effected you in any way to write a letter to his family about it.  I know for me personally that Andy was a huge impact and will be sending a letter to his family to express how much he meant to me personally.  I would like to send them a package with as many of these personal notes as possible.  I do not care if I am the only one but think that it would be a profound gesture to his family if they knew how many people were truly affected by this great man.  If you are interested please send them to me at bgant18AThotmailDOTcom and I will put them together to send.  I have been speaking with Boyer so that I can get the families home address to mail them to.  Lastly if anyone is in contact with the other Helms please let them know what I am doing so that they can be a part of it.  Thanks.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

 As of right now the funeral service for andy is scheduled for the 21st and i would really like to have something to the family by then so please do not wait till the last minute. thanks
